Moreton Bay is where greater Brisbane is growing fastest, and you can read it in the backyards. Whole suburbs have arrived inside twenty years, master-planned streets where every home starts with the same builder's handover: turf, a fence and a blank slate. Meanwhile Redcliffe, settled before Brisbane itself, keeps its old seaside character, and the hinterland stays stubbornly rural.

We're a design-only landscape studio led by qualified landscape designer Shannon Trevisiol, whose decade-plus of work spans public parks and residential gardens. Blank canvases are some of the most rewarding work we do: no old mistakes to unpick, just the chance to get orientation, shade and structure right the first time.

Blank-canvas yards, done properly

New-estate blocks are compact, and the temptation is to fill them with the obvious: slab, turf, a strip of screening. A designed yard gets far more from the same square metres, with an entertaining zone that's genuinely shaded in January, planting that cools the western wall, a lawn sized for how it's actually used, and any covenant requirements handled on paper before a single paver goes down.

The style out here leans contemporary, and that suits us: clean lines, structural planting, materials that stay sharp. Our modern garden design page shows the thinking.

Peninsula salt, waterfront Newport and hinterland acreage

The peninsula plays by coastal rules: salt on the breeze and gardens that face the water. The ground under them is less predictable than the postcard suggests, running from sandy, free-draining pockets near the foreshore to heavier soil a street back, so it pays to test rather than assume before choosing plants. Newport's waterfront blocks put outdoor living front and centre, with the garden carrying the view down to the water's edge.

Behind the corridor, the land lifts into genuine acreage, with bushland ridges at Clear Mountain and Cashmere, and the old dairy country around Dayboro. Design at that scale is masterplanning: staging, driveways, windbreaks and native canopy, which is the stuff of our acreage landscape design work.

Suburbs we cover across Moreton Bay

Through the growth corridor we cover North Lakes, Mango Hill, Griffin, Murrumba Downs, Kallangur, Strathpine and Warner, with Burpengary and Narangba to the north. On the peninsula: Redcliffe and Newport. In the hills: Cashmere, Clear Mountain and Dayboro.

On the region's south-western edge, Samford has a dedicated page, and the valley shares the same acreage sensibility as Clear Mountain and Dayboro. Suburbs between the ones named here are covered as a matter of course.

Travel, fees and getting started

Our Design Discovery Consultation is $350 on-site within Brisbane metro, which takes in the southern parts of the region. Further north and into the hinterland a travel surcharge applies: it's modest, quoted up front, and confirmed before you book.

After the consultation you'll hold a design brief and a fee proposal for concept design, with detailed, builder-ready drawings to follow when you're ready to put the project out for pricing.
